Canon Update

Canon Update
Canon updates in Apocalypse How are non-standard. There's no going home, there's no coma. Instead, there is the Visionary, a young avatar located in Bonnie's Flophouse. They are a frail person who always wears a blindfold and does not leave the Flophouse. Those who wish to know their potential future may request that the Visionary provide one for them. The Visionary will always agree, but will caveat that this is only a potential future and that they will need something in return... something precious. In return for visions of a potential future, the Visionary will take one important happy memory from the character.
Please note, the Visionary will not initiate interaction or request characters make use of their services. It will be a character choice to engage with them and offer up their memories. If this is something the character would do, they will receive whatever new canon material you desire in exchange for losing a happy memory. There will be no way to verify the veracity of this information unless someone from their world came in from a later point in time to corroborate it. The lost memory can be a canon memory or one gained within the game; it just needs to be important to the character.
Lost memories will be noticeably absent from the minds of characters, like someone ripped something out of them.

And in turn, there will be thoughts, images, and possibilities shoved into her head, a swirling cacophony of memories she'll probably need a few days or more to fully process. Whether any of it is true or not... well, the Visionary makes no guarantees.
It is up to you if this update and feeding happens because Eda pressed the Visionary for a glimpse of her future, or because of an accidental slip on the Visionary's part. Either way, when it's over, the Visionary will look blissfully relaxed for a few seconds, like they've just finished a big meal and they're sitting back to mull over what's left of it on their tongue. But that vanishes soon enough, replaced by horror and apologies, and the Visionary rushing away, locking herself in the basement and refusing to speak to Eda or anyone else about it.
As Eda is lucky #4, she will notice a change that comes over the Visionary after this latest feeding. His fingers seem to twist, bending and curling in unnatural shapes. Corkscrew-like, then almost like a silly straw for how they elongate. Their blissful expression is just wrong, as well. Almost like they're... fractured. But all of it vanishes quickly, and with her mind already overburdened and partially tattered, can she really trust what she saw? Who can say?

I was planning to call it an accidental slip on the Visionary's part. Also, given what happens, after she takes a bit to sort her brain out Eda will probably... suggest Bonnie check on them, especially if he is hiding hiding more than usual after this feeding. (I don't think she's necessarily mad at her, but the bendy straw fingers seem a little concerning!)
Also I just wanted to double check if there are any specific consequences to the limb loss in the update, since I'd seen that come up with other injuries. Thanks!

Noted that it was an accident and that she would mention the situation to Bonnie!
