Hey! I have something I meant to follow up on a while back and it kept slipping my mind.
Back when George left his will there was this letter for Katrina: here
At the time George and Katrina's players discussed Eda taking it with me since Katrina had vanished. I was planning to have her get in touch with the family from Wolf Pen to let them know what happened to George (well, the part where he died helping people, not the part where there was an Entity cult), that Katrina was away from the foreseeable future and see if they were especially in need of anything.
I was also planning to have her stay involved with helping hands to at least a degree.
If anything would come of either that would be neat, I also understand if I waited too long do do anything with this!

Maybe.) They'll be able to let Eda know that there's some odd things going on in town again. Not like there were before, but some folks who have started working for that new company that moved in (the one operated by Zyrian Steel) have been acting strange. Maybe it's just the new job, but they talk about seeing into a future that's so much bigger and so much longer than anyone can comprehend. They're learning about the birth of this universe, how human civilization doesn't even qualify as a footnote on the cosmic scale. BIT strange when they're supposed to be getting retrained for renewable energy jobs. But it's... probably fine. They've even put up a new wind turbine on the mountain, which seemed surprisingly quick. Robin thinks it's confusing. She always forgets where it is because it really seems like it's moving around sometimes. This info will help lead into the May event, so you're welcome to have Eda share any of it ICly with others (and we would encourage you to do so).Helping Hands is no longer being targeted by the Eye cult that was dispersed, but its membership has seen a sharp decline thanks to disappearances and people just leaving Gloucester. They're still limping along, doing what they can to assist the needy in town. Eda will need to keep a very long arm's length to avoid having worse things come down on the group.

I think she'd try and look into Zyrian Steel as a company/whether it's linked to any of the cults the ADI's run into, and probably browse local news for Wolf Pen to see if anything else stands out.
I'll try and have her do a network post about it in the next few days!

Most of Wolf Pen's local news seems to be about the retraining efforts for the miners and the success Copernicus has had with these efforts. Cindy Parsons, a newscaster that several people met in Wolf Pen and who provided some advanced intel about a strange effect traveling in ADI's direction has more critical coverage. They seem to be focusing on miners who are still suffering the long-term health effects of working in the mines, particularly mental health effects that Copernicus doesn't seem to be addressing with its retraining programs. They consider this a severe oversight considering how traumatized everyone was by the events of elevator disaster last year in the mind and the complete implosion of Wolf Pen's historic economy.
Beyond that, she's not going to find much else for right now!

I completely understand if this would be too hard to manage, but I was chatting with a few people and I have a thought/suggestion about the fact apps are ending in October.
I think that completely makes sense as the cutoff for new characters to join since there’s so little time to make CR and get settled in! But I think for returning characters with established CR/engagement with the setting, it could make sense to let them return in November, or maybe even let anyone with a previously accepted app hop in for the last event or two?
With the way things are slowing down I feel like it would be neat to make sure everyone who wants to get the chance to engage would be able to, especially once it’s at the point where AC doesn’t really matter.
Thanks for all the work you guys do!
