By-and-large, most weapons Persona 5 characters have access to are high-quality replica models or toys. They function as real weapons when used in the Metaverse, due to their enemies perceiving them as real (who would bring a toy gun to a gunfight, etc.) -- if characters were to arrive with a toy gun (like, say, a laser pistol or model gun), would it function as it normally would in the Metaverse, or would it not work at all since they're in the "real" world? Or would it be considered a character power for their toy guns to work as real guns?
Tacking onto that, how would ammunition work for these guns? In-game, enemies perceive a weapon to always be loaded with each new instance of combat, so they automatically reload without a need to pick up physical ammo.
